The Danish toy company LEGO recently unveiled its new product lineup scheduled for release in the second half of 2026. This article brings you information on the Technic series set, the "42239 Batmobile Tumbler", from Christopher Nolan's superhero film The Dark Knight! It is scheduled for release on August 1, 2026, with a suggested retail price of US$189.99.
This set contains a total of 719 pieces. Once assembled, it measures 11 cm high and 31 cm long. Unlike the previous Batmobile, which was a highly sought-after re-release focused on intricate detail and faithful replication, this commercialized Batmobile utilizes an abundance of black Technic elements to showcase a unique engineering aesthetic. From every angle, the charm of LEGO parts is evident. Of course, this Batmobile also boasts an incredible selling point: it can be controlled via the dedicated "CONTROL+" app! Not only can you enjoy the steering system, but the headlights also illuminate when the car starts. The included rechargeable battery is powered by USB-C (charging cable not included). We can't wait to get our hands on this Batmobile!
