From BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS Collectors Division, the S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, known for its "CineToy TAMASHII"（シネトイ魂！） series based on film and television properties, has officially unveiled a new product inspired by "Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith": the "Anakin Skywalker -Classic Ver.-" action figure. Priced at 11,550 JPY, it is slated for release in October 2026!
In "Revenge of the Sith," Anakin Skywalker, swayed by Darth Sidious's insidious words and believing only he could save Padmé, succumbed to the dark side of the Force. He became Darth Sidious's Sith apprentice and engaged in a breathtaking duel with his former master and friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi, on Mustafar!
Following its initial reveal last November during the second TAMASHII NEWS NETWORK livestream, the official announcement has finally arrived after half a year! This "Anakin Skywalker -Classic Ver.-" stands approximately 15 cm tall and features a newly sculpted head utilizing Tamashii Digital Coloring Technology. This ensures a remarkably detailed recreation of actor Hayden Christensen's likeness, even at this smaller scale, capturing Anakin's uneasy yet angry expression.
The body appears to reuse and repaint the 2018 version, now including the fabric Jedi Master robe that the series typically provides for its updated Jedi figures, offering a more complete look. Accessories include a red-eyed alternate head sculpt representing his fall to the dark side, two pairs of interchangeable hands, a lightsaber, a lightsaber hilt, and a lightsaber effect part. With its flexible articulation, this figure can be posed alongside the previously released "Obi-Wan Kenobi (Classic Ver.)" to recreate their iconic duel on Mustafar. It can also be displayed with other classic version characters like Mace Windu and Yoda to faithfully recreate various scenes from the film.
