Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer threezero is expanding its MDLX series, known for its small-scale articulated mecha figures, with a new "Transformers" release: the "Stepper" articulated figure. Priced at US$80, the figure is expected to ship in Q4 2026!
Stepper is renowned as the Autobots' most precise sharpshooter. However, his extremely volatile temper and tendency to be easily provoked make it challenging for him to maintain friendly relations or even communicate effectively with his teammates. Despite these difficulties, he possesses an intensely loyal and righteous heart. The character's original toy was a Japan-exclusive release, famously utilizing the mold of G1 Jazz.
This MDLX Stepper figure stands approximately 15 cm (6 inches) tall. As expected, it faithfully reuses the mold from the previously released MDLX Jazz figure, staying true to the character's origins. The design is an updated interpretation based on the G1 aesthetic, meticulously sculpting the mechanical details across the entire body. Its primary color scheme of black, white, and gold, accented with flame patterns, exquisitely reinterprets his classic image. The figure incorporates die-cast zinc alloy parts within a plastic frame, providing a perfect balance of weight and structural stability. Accessories include five pairs of interchangeable hands, a photon rifle, and a grappling hook.
