TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's Bandai Spirits, recently unveiled a prototype for the new Kamen Rider G3 from "Kamen Rider AGITΩ." This release is part of their S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou series, renowned for sculpting figures from the skeletal structure to capture the original heroic proportions and natural articulation of Tokusatsu heroes. A release date has not yet been announced.
In "Kamen Rider AGITΩ," the "G" series of special reinforced suits were weapons developed jointly by Japanese corporations and the Metropolitan Police Department to combat Unidentified Lifeforms, officially known as Unknowns. Designed in 2001 by the brilliant mechanical engineering doctor, Sumiko Ozawa, the "Kamen Rider G3" suit could amplify a normal human's strength tenfold. While its initial prototype stage lacked refinement, the subsequently improved and enhanced "G3-X" achieved outstanding combat results against the Unknowns, laying the foundation for the future "G" series.
The currently displayed prototype for the S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider G3 already boasts a high level of completion. It features a robust physique, reminiscent of a Tokusatsu actor in costume. Each piece of armor and the belt are intricately sculpted with rich details and finished with metallic paintwork to capture a realistic sheen.
