Good Smile Arts Shanghai has just announced the latest entry in its mecha-musume action figure line, the "Hyper Body" series! Straight from the hit mobile game *Azur Lane*, the new "New Jersey (April Fools Ver.)" is scheduled for a May 2027 release.
Hailing from the Eagle Union faction, the legendary UR ship "New Jersey" is based on the second Iowa-class battleship, the USS New Jersey (BB-62). Nicknamed the "Black Dragon" and awarded 19 battle stars for her service, her in-game counterpart is a top-tier T0 powerhouse who takes immense pride in her abilities. She has a direct and lively personality, actively doting on the Commander and affectionately calling them "Honey," establishing herself as a confident main fleet wife.
The "Hyper Body New Jersey (April Fools Ver.)" is based on the viral illustration from the game's 2025 April Fools' special login screen, bringing the cockpit-bound New Jersey in her revealing pilot suit to life. This fully articulated figure stands approximately 15cm tall, featuring intricate sculpting and paintwork that faithfully recreates the original design by artist AF_KURO of "Shoujo Hatsudouki" (Girl's Engine) fame. With articulation points throughout her body, she can be displayed in a variety of sexy and cute poses.
Accessories include three face plates: a "standard face," a "tongue-out face," and a "smiling face." The set also comes with multiple interchangeable hand parts, her "cockpit control system," a "CO2 canister," and a hand part with a flash effect, allowing you to recreate scenes from the original artwork.
