Japanese manufacturer Kaiyodo has just announced the latest entry in its popular Amazing Yamaguchi action figure line: Ryu Hayabusa from the ultimate ninja action-adventure game "NINJA GAIDEN 4"! This highly anticipated figure is slated for a March 2027 release.
The solitary Super Ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, first slashed his way onto the scene in Tecmo's 1988 NES classic, "Ninja Gaiden" (known as "Ninja Ryukenden" in Japan). He has since become a staple in the "Ninja Gaiden" and "Dead or Alive" series, and has made appearances in various "Warriors" titles from Koei Tecmo. As a modern-day Super Ninja and heir to the ancient Hayabusa Style of Ninjutsu, this descendant of the Dragon Lineage is fated to combat evil, often utilizing powerful techniques like his signature "Izuna Drop" finishing move.
The "Amazing Yamaguchi Ryu Hayabusa 'NINJA GAIDEN 4' Ver." is based on his appearance in the latest installment of the franchise. Sculpted by the renowned Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, the figure features a detailed sculpt that captures his powerful physique and his new jet-black combat suit, which blends traditional ninja garb with metallic armor. The paint application expertly differentiates between the textures of leather, metal, and fabric. Utilizing Kaiyodo's signature Revoltech joint system, this figure is fully articulated, allowing collectors to recreate all the dynamic and stylish combat poses from the game.
Accessories include his signature Dragon Sword and scabbard, a shuriken with a throwing effect part, and even the Blade of the Archfiend (with its own scabbard), which appears as a DLC alternate skin for the Dragon Sword. Also included is the new snake-like gauntlet, the Jakotsumon, from the new DLC story "The Two Super Ninja." This weapon is intricately detailed, capturing its unique snake-head design, and comes with parts to display it in its stored state, with its dedicated blade, or with extension pieces. Combined with the figure's incredible articulation, you can replicate its swift and satisfying combat style!
Furthermore, customers who purchase this item from official Kaiyodo stores will receive an exclusive bonus: a "True Dragon Sword Effect Part."
