"Shugo Chara!" is a beloved shojo manga series penned by the creative duo PEACH-PIT, which was adapted into a TV anime by SATELIGHT in 2007. The story follows protagonist Amu Hinamori as she joins the "Guardians" at Seiyo Elementary, a student organization whose members possess "Guardian Characters." Together, they search for the "Embryo," a magical egg said to grant any wish, while also confronting the "Easter" corporation. Easter seeks the Embryo for their own nefarious purposes, unleashing "X-Eggs" to corrupt people's hearts, and it's up to Amu and the Guardians to resolve these incidents.
