Japanese company Kaiyodo today (May 8th) revealed on its official X (formerly Twitter) account a first look at the upcoming Katsuya Jonouchi action figure, a new "Yu-Gi-Oh!" themed release from its REVOLTECH series, known for its intricate sculpting and exceptional articulation. Pre-orders are set to open soon!
Katsuya Jonouchi, once a troubled youth from a broken home, supported himself through street fights. After being moved by Yugi's sincerity and kindness during the Ushio incident, he became Yugi's close friend. Despite his timid nature and dislike for insects, he is incredibly loyal and dedicated, even embarking on a perilous journey to secure medical funds for his sister. Following the release of Yami Yugi, it's now Jonouchi's turn! The currently revealed product images showcase Jonouchi in his iconic school uniform, with sculpting that perfectly captures the sharp lines of his outfit and distinctive hairstyle. His signature Duel Disk and the "AIR MUSCLE" shoes, a clear homage to the Nike Air Max 95, are also meticulously recreated. Further product details will be announced later, and we can't wait!
