Chinese toy manufacturer Rocket Toys (ROC), under license from Pierrot China, has officially revealed a new product based on the beloved anime "Naruto: Shippuden"—a 1/6 scale action figure of Jiraiya. This release will be available in both a Standard and a Deluxe version. This article will focus on the highly anticipated Deluxe Version, priced at 2,380 RMB, with an estimated release in Q3 2027!
Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin of the Hidden Leaf Village, served as the sensei to Minato Namikaze (the Fourth Hokage) and later to Naruto Uzumaki. A master of Sage Jutsu, Summoning Jutsu, and a myriad of other ninja techniques, he was instrumental in teaching Naruto the Rasengan and Sage Mode. While often appearing carefree and eccentric, Jiraiya was a ninja of profound wisdom and responsibility, whose legacy continued to impact the village's future and peace long after his passing.
The Deluxe Version figure stands approximately 34 cm tall, with its design centered around the iconic Sage Mode. In addition to the main body included in the Standard version, this deluxe set features an extra body with toad-transformed feet. The figure's signature red vest and ninja attire are faithfully recreated using real fabric. Beyond the accessories found in the Standard edition, such as the popsicle and Big Ball Rasengan effect parts, the Deluxe version further includes three interchangeable toad-transformed hands, mini-figures of Fukasaku and Shima, and a toad-transformed Sage Mode face sculpt. These incredible additions allow collectors to fully recreate Jiraiya's complete Sage Mode appearance, with the two Elder Toads perched on his shoulders!
