SEGA Prize, a brand under Japanese game company SEGA, announced via their official X (formerly Twitter) account in a 2026 new product preview that the Yumemirize series, which brings characters to life with intricate, dreamlike poses and sculpts based on the concept of "dreams coming true," will release a new "Rebuild of Evangelion" themed item: "Shikinami Asuka Langley"!
Asuka appears in the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series under the name "Shikinami Asuka Langley," serving as the pilot of Evangelion Unit-02 under WILLE, the anti-NERV organization led by Misato Katsuragi. In "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," it was revealed that she, like Ayanami Rei, is a created being.
Following the previously revealed "Ayanami Rei," Asuka's product images have now been unveiled! For this release, Yumemirize has crafted Asuka in a sitting pose, clad in a one-piece swimsuit and sun protection jacket, just like Ayanami Rei. The figure captures her cross-legged, reaching upwards with her arms. The delicate muscle lines of her fair, long legs, extending all the way to her fingertips, are exquisitely reproduced, with details around her knees and toes further emphasizing the supple, soft appearance of her skin! The jacket also features a semi-transparent material, giving it a wet look, allowing the school swimsuit underneath to be subtly visible. She can be displayed alongside Ayanami Rei to create a vibrant summer atmosphere!
