CAVICO, a model brand from Japanese manufacturer M.I.Molde, is expanding its small-scale "ChoiPla" (チョイプラ) model series. In addition to the previously announced EVANGELION Unit-02, they have also unveiled another new "Rebuild of Evangelion"-themed product: the EVANGELION Unit-00' (Kai) model kit. Priced at 1,870 JPY, it is slated for release in July 2026!
The ChoiPla EVANGELION Unit-00' (Kai) model kit consists of 27 parts, standing approximately 4.8 cm tall when assembled. It faithfully recreates the repaired Unit-00's appearance from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" films, rendered in the series' signature super-deformed (SD) style. Despite its rounded, adorable aesthetic, it showcases intricate details such as the refined head sculpt and abdominal restraints!
Accessories include an electromagnetic rifle and the umbilical cable. The kit is molded in the classic EVA yellow plastic, allowing collectors to unleash their creativity and paint the model to fully capture Unit-00's iconic colors! Furthermore, it can be displayed alongside the CHOIPLA EVANGELION Unit-01, released last year, and the concurrently announced Unit-02, to recreate adorable scenes of them fighting side-by-side!
