BANDAI HOBBY, the plastic model brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, today unveiled the prototype for the latest product from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," the "HG 1/144 Gundam Spiegel," at the 64th Shizuoka Hobby Show. This new addition to the highly diverse 1/144 scale Gunpla "HG (High Grade)" series will soon be available for pre-order exclusively on BANDAI's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The GF13-021NG Gundam Spiegel is a Mobile Fighter (MF) developed by Neo Germany for the 13th Gundam Fight, specifically for Schwarz Bruder, a master of German-style ninjutsu. Designed with an emphasis on stealth and mobility, the unit features "Doppelganger" abilities, allowing it to disguise itself as other objects, and "Stealth" functions to blend seamlessly with its environment. These capabilities enable Schwarz to maximize his ninjutsu, completely disrupting opponents' attack rhythms. Its arms are also equipped with "Spiegel Blades," weapons capable of effortlessly cutting through armor, which, when combined with the unit's high-speed rotation, unleash the powerful special move "Sturm Und Drang."
The "HG 1/144 Gundam Spiegel" is developed using BANDAI's latest technology, boasting precise sculpting details, excellent color separation, and articulation mechanisms on par with modern HG standards. Its design faithfully reproduces the anime appearance, including the distinctive "Spiegel Blades" on both arms. Based on the current exhibition, accessories are expected to include several ninjutsu scroll parts printed with German text. These can be attached around the Gundam Spiegel with clear stands, allowing collectors to recreate dynamic scenes of the scrolls unfurling.
