BANDAI HOBBY, the model kit brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, today unveiled the prototype for its latest release in the "30 MINUTES PREFERENCE" character model kit series at the 64th Shizuoka Hobby Show. The new "Powered Natsumi & Giroro Gochou" from "Sgt. Frog" is slated for release in November 2026.
The newly commercialized "KLL-00723-GT Powered Natsumi" first appeared in the "Keroro Platoon's 24 Hours" long-form story arc of the original manga. This battle form sees Natsumi Hinata's abilities significantly enhanced after donning the "Earthling Natsumi's Dedicated Defensive Enhanced Suit," bestowed upon her by Sergeant Giroro. Her physique, modeled after a school swimsuit, is largely enveloped in reinforced armor and equipped with an arsenal including a beam rifle, proton beam saber, and shield. Furthermore, light wings, reminiscent of fairy wings, can deploy from her back.
The "30MP Powered Natsumi & Giroro Gochou" kit leverages the advanced technology developed for the 30 MINUTES series. It utilizes multi-color molded parts to faithfully recreate Natsumi's intricately articulated body and the sophisticated armor designs across various sections. The pre-printed facial expression parts perfectly capture the distinctive art style of original author Mine Yoshizaki. Furthermore, a proportionally scaled Sergeant Giroro figure is included for display alongside Natsumi. While the current prototype only showcases the beam rifle and shield mounted on her left and right hands, collectors can look forward to an even more extensive arsenal with the final release.
