TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has announced the upcoming release of "Ultraman Noa" from the tokusatsu series "Ultraman Nexus" as part of their popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure line. A release date is yet to be determined.
"Ultraman Noa," the legendary Giant of Light who has protected universal peace since ancient times, transformed into his incomplete form, "THE NEXT," after an epic, dimension-spanning battle with his arch-nemesis, the Dark Giant Dark Zagi, having nearly exhausted all his power. In subsequent series, a partially recovered Noa pursued Space Beasts to Earth, merging with multiple human hosts and becoming known as "Ultraman Nexus." Ultimately, with the assistance of the fifth host, Kazuki Komon, Noa successfully regained his full power and once again defeated the resurrected Dark Zagi, who had been lurking on Earth.
While detailed information for the "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Noa" has yet to be revealed, its overall design aesthetic appears to continue the style of the previous "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Nexus Anphans." The entire sculpt is thoroughly supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department, faithfully recreating the cool head sculpt, the twin wings on its back, and the silver armor-like contours and muscular lines across its body with a refined finish. Accessories are also expected to include effect parts for its most powerful finishing move, "Lightning Noa," used to defeat Dark Zagi in the series.
