Known for its top-tier size, sculpting, and articulation, the Ikimono Daizukan Ultimate line (also known as Ikimono Daizukan Advance in Japan) offers a level of realism and paint detail that surpasses the standard series. This new release, the Ikimono Daizukan Ultimate Coconut Crab (Purple), tackles the largest terrestrial crab on Earth. The figure perfectly captures the deep purple carapace common in adult specimens, complete with a stunningly realistic gradient paint job. Modeled using CT scan data, every feature—from the powerful claws to the swollen cephalothorax—is faithfully recreated. With its legs spread, the figure boasts an impressive 20cm (approx. 7.8 inches) span!
The articulation is where this figure truly shines, featuring an incredibly complex design with 60 points of movement.
