Iron-Blooded Orphans: METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Bael [Re:Coordinate] Returns with Updated Colors and Markings!

Bandai Spirits' TAMASHII NATIONS division has officially announced the latest release from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" for its METAL ROBOT SPIRITS line, which combines premium metallic paintwork with a die-cast metal frame. The new "Gundam Bael [Re:Coordinate]" is slated for release in October 2026.

The ASW-G-01 Gundam Bael is one of the original Gundam Frame mobile suits built during the Calamity War 300 years ago. Named after the first of the 72 demons of the Ars Goetia, it was famously piloted to victory by Agnika Kaieru, the founder of Gjallarhorn. After the war, it was sealed away and came to be seen within Gjallarhorn as the ultimate symbol of power, with some even deifying the machine, claiming Agnika's soul resided within it. While it was believed that possessing Bael would grant one control over Gjallarhorn, McGillis Fareed of the Seven Stars' Fareed family would later prove how naive this superstition was after he ruthlessly schemed and betrayed his closest allies to claim the suit for himself.

The "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Bael [Re:Coordinate]" is an updated version of the original 2021 release. The color scheme has been completely revamped, most notably the main white armor parts, which now feature a semi-gloss finish with a subtle blue tint, giving the mobile suit a more premium feel. Additionally, the markings printed across the body incorporate several new designs, further enhancing the level of detail.

Other aspects of the design remain the same as the original release. The sculpt was supervised by mechanical designer Naohiro Washio, faithfully recreating the suit's sleek and formidable silhouette from the anime. Key joints are constructed with a high die-cast metal content and feature electroplating to create a strong mechanical aesthetic. This construction also allows for an impressive range of articulation, enabling dynamic and powerful poses befitting Bael's legendary status.

In terms of armaments, the back-mounted thruster wings each feature four points of articulation, and the smaller black thrusters are also independently poseable. The Bael Swords come in two different sizes, with a total of four blades included, allowing for the creation of dynamic scenes with a sense of perspective. The set also includes a dedicated display stand and effect parts to recreate the iconic scene from episode 45 where Bael raises its sword, as well as the glowing eye effect for combat scenes.
