Japan's Bandai Spirits has officially announced a brand-new toy series based on the "Mobile Suit Gundam" franchise, titled "GUNDAM MIXIMIZE." They also revealed detailed information for the first wave of products: "RX-78-2 Gundam," "Freedom Gundam," and "Char's Custom Zaku," all slated for release on September 26, 2026.
The "GUNDAM MIXIMIZE" line features articulated, snap-together Gundam figures designed with a minimalist parts count. While maintaining full body articulation, these figures achieve realistic mobile suit proportions with the fewest possible components, making them easy to assemble and enjoyable to pose. Furthermore, the joint systems across different mobile suits are largely standardized, allowing for free interchangeability of parts between kits. However, a notable drawback of the line is evident: to minimize part count and maintain plastic molding precision, many parts, particularly on the inner arms, inner thighs, and back of the mobile suits, feature significant hollow sections.

The initial wave will feature three mobile suits: the "RX-78-2 Gundam," "Freedom Gundam," and "Char's Custom Zaku." Each comes equipped with its signature armaments, including a Beam Rifle, Shield, Heat Hawk, and Zaku Machine Gun. Additionally, a mini pilot figure is included, designed to fit inside the cockpit located within the chest section.
