TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has officially announced the latest addition to its "Saint Seiya Myth Cloth EX" series: the "Andromeda Shun (Final Bronze Cloth) -ORIGINAL COLOR EDITION-" action figure! Priced at 19,800 JPY, this highly anticipated release is slated for an October 2026 launch.
One of the five Bronze Saints, "Andromeda Shun" is the younger brother of Phoenix Ikki, often protected by his elder sibling. In the series, Shun utilizes his signature chains and wind-based attacks against foes. Known for his pure and kind-hearted nature, he detests fighting, even stating he'd "rather not harm anyone, even when fighting for justice." Despite his delicate appearance, with fair skin, green hair, and a pink Cloth, Shun consistently reveals a fierce fighting spirit and hidden power to overcome adversaries in critical moments.
The "Saint Seiya Myth Cloth EX Andromeda Shun (Final Bronze Cloth) -ORIGINAL COLOR EDITION-" action figure builds upon the 2022 release, now featuring a color palette that more closely aligns with Masami Kurumada's original manga illustrations. The pink metallic sheen of the Cloth is meticulously recreated with electroplating, offering a more refined and elegant luster, while Shun's hair color has been updated to brown. His iconic Nebula Chains are also rendered in pink, and the figure includes new lightning-shaped effect chains to replicate the Nebula Thunder Wave, alongside spiral chain accessories for defensive poses. Complementing these are a variety of interchangeable face plates—calm, shouting, closed-eyes, and gritting teeth—to perfectly capture Shun's dynamic presence in battle!
