"Carry Me to My Grave" is based on the upcoming novel of the same name by horror-fantasy author Christopher Golden. The story centers on a man named Malcolm, who, fulfilling his dying mother's wish, must transport her body to her childhood hometown for burial. On this journey, Malcolm finds himself protecting the corpse from malevolent forces, which appear to be targeting the body due to rumors that his mother was a witch during her lifetime.

The book is slated for release in the United States on July 21st, and Lionsgate secured the film rights prior to its official publication.
