The official Gunpla flagship store, The Gundam Base, has just put its latest exclusive on display: the MG 1/100 Gundam Kyrios (Trans-Am Mode) [Metallic Gloss Injection] from "Mobile Suit Gundam 00". This special release is scheduled to hit Gundam Base locations in September 2026.
The GN-003 Gundam Kyrios is one of the third-generation Gundams developed by the private military organization Celestial Being and is piloted by the super-soldier Allelujah Haptism. Specialized for high-speed, hit-and-run tactics, the Kyrios can transform from its MS Mode into a high-velocity Flight Mode. It boasts superior GN Particle control and maneuverability, and its armament includes a GN Beam Submachine Gun, GN Beam Sabers, a GN Shield with a deployable blade, and a tail unit packed with GN Missiles for air-to-air and air-to-ground combat.
The MG 1/100 Gundam Kyrios (Trans-Am Mode) [Metallic Gloss Injection] is a new version based on the previously released standard retail kit. As seen in the display prototype, the entire kit features a dramatically updated color scheme. It utilizes "Metallic Gloss Injection" molding to give the red-toned armor a stunning metallic sheen, simulating the look of the suit activating its Trans-Am Mode as it unleashes compressed GN Particles. The kit's core specifications remain the same as the original, featuring a detailed internal frame, intricate armor detailing, and a complete, parts-swapping-free transformation to Flight Mode. All of its signature weapons, including the GN Beam Submachine Gun, GN Missiles, and the GN Shield with its deployable blade, are also included.
