With less than a month until the sixth installment of the parody-comedy franchise "Scary Movie" hits theaters, the studio has just dropped a fresh batch of posters spoofing several major horror films to keep the hype building. The new posters take aim at movies including "The Backrooms," "Ma," "Get Out," "Weapons," "Sinners," and "The Substance."

"Scary Movie 6" sees the return of the Wayans brothers to the writers' room. Keenen Ivory Wayans, who directed and co-wrote the first two films, is back to pen the script alongside his younger brothers Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans, who starred in and co-wrote the original blockbusters. They are joined by frequent collaborator Rick Alvarez, who previously worked with the Wayans on the "A Haunted House" series and "Fifty Shades of Black."
In the director's chair is Michael Tiddes, another regular collaborator with the Wayans family. Tiddes previously directed the Wayans-starring films in the "A Haunted House" franchise and "Fifty Shades of Black."

The original cast returning for this installment includes Marlon and Shawn Wayans, along with familiar faces like Regina Hall as Brenda, Anna Faris as Cindy, and Jon Abrahams as Bobby. The new blood features the next generation of the Wayans family, including Damon Wayans Jr. and Gregg Wayans. The film is scheduled for a North American release on June 12.
