Three months ago, veteran director Nancy Meyers, known for hit comedies like "The Intern" and "The Holiday," officially launched the production of her long-gestating romantic comedy feature. The project had already secured Owen Wilson, Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, and Jude Law to star, and today, additional supporting cast members have been announced.

According to Deadline, Tony Hale, Beverly D’Angelo, and Apple Martin are the latest additions to the ensemble. Among these, the most notable is Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, who will be making her silver screen debut. She reportedly made a small screen appearance earlier this year in an HBO series.

The film carries a hefty production budget, estimated between $130 million and $150 million, with its official title and plot synopsis yet to be announced. However, rumors three years ago suggested the film would tell the story of a young writer-director who falls in love with a producer. They collaborate on several films before breaking up and ending their professional partnership. Years later, a new film project forces them to reunite, where they must navigate not only high production stakes but also a cast of unruly A-list stars.
Based on this rumored synopsis, the lead couple's characters bear some resemblance to Meyers' own experiences. She had a long-standing creative and romantic partnership with fellow writer-director Charles Shyer, and they similarly ceased collaborating after their divorce in 1999.
