Japan's Kotobukiya, under its OSHI WORKS brand—known for its accessible pricing and diverse lineup centered on the "Oshi" (my favorite) concept—has announced a new "Yu-Gi-Oh!" themed product: a 1/7 scale pre-painted figure of Anzu Mazaki. Priced at 8,800 JPY, the figure is slated for release in November 2026!
Anzu Mazaki, Yugi's childhood friend and a second-year student at Domino High School, deeply values friendship. She consistently looks out for Yugi at school, even protecting him from bullies, and was among the first to recognize the presence of Dark Yugi's personality. Anzu is also an accomplished dancer, aspiring to become a professional dancer in New York after graduation.
This 1/7 scale pre-painted Anzu Mazaki figure stands approximately 23 cm tall, capturing her in her iconic Domino High School uniform. The sculpting meticulously renders the subtle musculature of her fair thighs, along with the intricate folds and wrinkles of her uniform jacket and pleated skirt. Her distinctive short, layered hairstyle is also faithfully recreated, with partial airbrushing used to enhance shadows and create a more vivid overall light and shadow effect. Furthermore, the base, emblazoned with the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" logo, features magnetic connectors on the sides, allowing it to link with other figures in the series. This makes her a perfect companion for displaying alongside previously released characters and monsters like Mai Valentine and the Red-Eyes Black Dragon!
