Bandai's candy toy division, BANDAI CANDY, has officially announced a new product line based on the hit mecha action shooter "Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon." The new series, titled "ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON Assemble Collection Vol. 01," is slated for a September 2026 release.
"Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon," developed by FromSoftware, is the latest installment in the beloved series after a decade-long hiatus. The story is set on the remote planet of Rubicon 3, where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called "Coral." Initially hailed as a revolutionary energy source poised to trigger a technological leap, Coral instead caused a catastrophic event that engulfed the entire star system in flames. Nearly a century later, the volatile Coral has become the focal point of a bitter conflict between extraterrestrial corporations and resistance factions. Players take on the role of an independent mercenary, codenamed "Raven," piloting their own Armored Core to infiltrate Rubicon and dive headfirst into the heart of the storm.
The "ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON Assemble Collection Vol. 01" line transforms the game's iconic Armored Cores into super-deformed (SD) style figures, each standing approximately 6cm tall. Despite their compact size, these figures boast incredible detail and vibrant paint applications. Most importantly, they faithfully replicate the game's deep customization system. Key components—including the head, core, arms, legs, right- and left-hand weapons, and right- and left-shoulder weapons—are all fully detachable and interchangeable across the lineup. This first wave features four popular ACs: LOADER 4, the "Twilight" preset, STEEL HAZE, and TENDERFOOT.
