Esteemed entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider recently reported on his paid blog, "The InSneider," that Jacob Hair (pictured above), who has directed numerous episodes of "Rick and Morty" since its fourth season, is currently in talks with Warner Bros. Pictures to helm the feature film adaptation. Hair has directed a total of 26 episodes for the series, establishing himself as a core creative force behind the show.

"Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon previously indicated that he envisions the movie running approximately 90 minutes and maintaining a highly standalone narrative that won't directly impact the ongoing series storyline.
