Production on James Gunn's upcoming "Superman: Legacy" has been underway for some time, but the full cast list continues to be revealed gradually. For instance, Milly Alcock, who is set to portray Supergirl, recently confirmed in a Variety interview that she will be appearing in "Superman: Legacy."
DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn is once again writing and directing the film, which is slated for release on July 11, 2025.

Other confirmed cast members for "Superman: Legacy" include David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. The roster also features additional heroes joining the DC Universe, such as Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, and Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner.
New additions to the cast include German actor Lars Eidinger as the main villain Brainiac, Aaron Pierre as Green Lantern John Stewart, and Adria Arjona as the alien queen Maxima. Matthew Lillard has also joined the film in an undisclosed role.
