Japanese toy company Kotobukiya is bringing back its popular D-Style series! Kicking off the revival is a classic re-release from the "Zoids" franchise: the "D-STYLE Gustav Moonbay's Spec [Clear Parts Append]"! The kit is priced at 3,960 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2026.
This re-release of the "D-STYLE Gustav Moonbay's Spec [Clear Parts Append]" is based on the original 2013 D-Style kit, now updated with modern production techniques. Rendered in a cute super-deformed (SD) style, the Gustav comes equipped with two rear transport trailers. You can recreate iconic scenes of transporting and maintaining Zoids in the wilderness by pairing it with other kits from the series (sold separately), like the Blade Liger and the Command Wolf.
The model features wheels on the bottom, allowing it to roll along surfaces for a realistic transport vehicle feel. Unpainted figures of Moonbay and Fiona are included and can be seated in the two-seater cockpit. This [Clear Parts Append] version also comes with a set of completely clear, uncolored parts, giving modelers the freedom to customize the kit with their own preferred color schemes!
