BANDAI SPIRITS’ BANPRESTO brand is expanding its THE AMAZING HEROES figure series with a new release from "My Hero Academia": Izuku Midoriya (Sports Festival Ver.). The Prize figure is scheduled to roll out in October 2026!
"My Hero Academia" is a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2014 to 2025. Set in a world where nearly everyone possesses a superpower known as a Quirk, the story follows Izuku Midoriya, a formerly Quirkless boy who inherits the No. 1 hero All Might’s Quirk, One For All. After enrolling at his dream school, U.A. High School, Midoriya trains alongside his classmates as they strive to become the greatest heroes.
Izuku Midoriya (Sports Festival Ver.) recreates his showdown with Shoto Todoroki during the U.A. Sports Festival in Episode 23, "Shoto Todoroki: Origin." The figure captures Midoriya shouting, "Come at me with everything you’ve got!" Every detail adds to the intensity of the scene, from the sculpted folds in his U.A. gym uniform and windswept hair to his One For All-damaged fingers and fiercely determined expression. Collectors can also display him alongside the newly revealed Shoto Todoroki (Sports Festival Ver.) figure to recreate this unforgettable battle in full!
