Global collectible powerhouse Hot Toys has officially unveiled their latest creation from "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace" – the Queen Amidala 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure. Priced at US$285, the figure is slated for release in December 2027!
Padmé Amidala, the young elected Queen of Naboo and the planet's representative in the Galactic Senate, played a pivotal role in "The Phantom Menace." She tirelessly worked to end the Trade Federation's occupation of Naboo, even surviving an assassination attempt by Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray. With the help of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, she escaped and later encountered a nine-year-old Anakin Skywalker when their ship landed on Tatooine for repairs.
Standing approximately 28 cm tall, this 1/6 scale Queen Amidala collectible figure captures Padmé's iconic appearance from the film's opening scene, where she engages in a video conference with Nute Gunray. The head sculpt meticulously recreates actress Natalie Portman's delicate facial features, complete with Queen Amidala's signature makeup. The eyes feature a rolling eyeball mechanism, allowing collectors to adjust her resolute gaze. Her distinctive large wig and flowing hair are also intricately sculpted, perfectly replicating the Naboo royal headdress design from the movie.
The audience chamber gown is meticulously tailored from high-quality red fabric, featuring exquisite faux fur trim along the edges and intricate embroidery. The seven "Sein Jewels" on the skirt hem are equipped with LED light-up functions, perfectly recreating the magnificent visual effect of the gown as seen in the film. Accessories include multiple interchangeable hands and a specially designed Naboo royal-themed display base, allowing collectors to pose the figure to convey the Queen's elegant yet powerful presence.
