Following the classic Megadramon, toy giant PLEX is back with the second entry in their "Digimon Real Data Collection" series: the elusive ancient species Digimon, V-dramon! Priced at 15,400 JPY (tax included), this highly anticipated figure is slated for a September 2026 release.
First appearing as Tai Kamiya's partner Digimon in "Digimon V-Tamer 01," V-dramon is an incredibly rare and difficult-to-encounter phantom ancient species within the vast Digital World. Its most distinguishing feature is the massive "V" pattern on its chest. Possessing extraordinary offensive power, V-dramon has the terrifying potential to surpass even Ultimate-level Digimon despite being only a Champion. Despite its fierce dragon-like appearance, it's often mistaken for a dog by the inhabitants of the Digital World.
The "Digimon Real Data Collection V-dramon" is meticulously crafted at an impressive size, standing approximately 16 cm tall and measuring about 19 cm long. The prototype design thoroughly references the original illustrations, perfectly recreating V-dramon's powerful physique and iconic claw-extended pose. Its entire body features rough, organic skin textures, realistically sculpted. For the paint application, the figure utilizes the original illustration's color palette as a base, precisely adjusting gloss and matte finishes across different body parts to achieve varied visual textures. Furthermore, manga-like brushstroke lines are employed to enhance the sense of depth and dynamism!
