Bandai Spirits has announced a new product from the tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider Kuuga," the "Arcle Super Ancient Petrified Version," slated for release in September 2026.
The "Arcle" transformation belt, used by the ancient Linto warriors, is Kamen Rider Kuuga's iconic device. Its immense power stems from the mysterious "Amadam" spirit stone embedded within the belt. Only those with a sound body and spirit can wield Kuuga's strength. Once equipped, the Arcle merges with its user, granting the ability to decompose and reassemble molecules and atoms. This allows Kuuga to transform from his Mighty Form into Dragon, Pegasus, and Titan Forms, utilizing diverse combat styles with varied abilities and weapons. It also bestows upon its wearer, Yusuke Godai, super-fast self-regeneration capabilities.
The "Arcle Super Ancient Petrified Version" utilizes the metal molds from the previously released "CSM Transformation Belt Arcle ver.25th." However, it incorporates new parts to faithfully recreate the fossilized state of the belt as if it were just unearthed. The surface features a special paint application with irregular rock-colored particles, not only achieving a visually authentic stone texture but also meticulously simulating the rough feel of rock. This version removes the sound and light effects present in the CSM edition, filling in the original speaker and sensor openings, and features newly sculpted damaged details on the back of the belt components.
