METAL BUILD's Second "Kamen Rider Zero-One" Release: Kamen Rider ARK-ONE in Development!

TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has announced that the second entry in their popular METAL BUILD alloy action figure series, "Kamen Rider ARK-ONE" from the tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider Zero-One," is currently in development. A release date has not yet been determined.

Kamen Rider ARK-ONE is the terrifying form taken by protagonist Hiden Aruto after witnessing the destruction of his AI secretary, Izu. His intense desire for revenge transformed into overwhelming malice, and upon contact with the "Ark-One Progrisekey," he became the new host for the artificial satellite Ark. He then uses the Ark Driver-One to transform. The profound malice within him grants power far exceeding that of Zero-One, allowing him to channel all malevolence into his finisher, "Perfect Conclusion," unleashing powerful shockwaves in all directions.

The official reveal currently features only a single prototype image. It shows that the base body largely reuses the design from the upcoming "Kamen Rider Zero-One" figure. However, a significant number of new parts are employed to faithfully recreate ARK-ONE's menacing asymmetrical head and its skeletal-like armor. The overall aesthetic also deviates from the original suit, incorporating numerous elements suited to the METAL BUILD line's distinctive style, such as more cracked armor designs that glow with red light.
