Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY has revealed a new addition to its popular 6-inch MAFEX action figure line: the "No.314 Bo-Katan Kryze (Season 3 Ver.)" from the Star Wars spin-off series "The Mandalorian." This highly anticipated figure is priced at 14,080 JPY and is slated for a March 2027 release!
Bo-Katan Kryze first appeared in the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" as a Mandalorian princess. In "The Mandalorian" Season 3, Bo-Katan rescued Din Djarin from a monster in the ruins of Mandalore, and together they entered the Living Waters for redemption. She subsequently united the scattered Mandalorian clans and reclaimed Mandalore.
The new Bo-Katan Kryze Season 3 Ver. stands approximately 15 cm tall. It appears to partially reuse elements from the previous version, with adjustments made to reflect her Season 3 appearance. Notably, her right shoulder armor now features the Beskar signet re-forged for her by the Armorer. The head sculpt, once again crafted by Kyoichi Shimazaki, faithfully captures actress Katee Sackhoff's facial features in this smaller scale, complete with her Season 3 side-parted hairstyle!
In terms of accessories, in addition to her iconic Nite Owl Mandalorian helmet head sculpt, multiple interchangeable hands, and previously included blaster, grappling hook, knife, and jetpack flame effects, this release also adds a circular shield effect and multiple versions of the Darksaber, symbolizing her leadership. These can be combined with the figure's flexible articulation to recreate various scenes from the series!
