Bandai Candy, the Shokugan (collectible figure) division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the highly anticipated rerelease of the "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Full Armor ZZ Gundam" from the "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE" series. Hailing from the classic "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ," this popular item will be available again in November 2026, exclusively through Bandai's official online store, Premium Bandai.
The protagonist mobile suit of "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ," the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam, was a cutting-edge machine equipped with a variety of high-firepower beam and projectile weapons. However, its structural integrity was somewhat compromised due to its ability to transform and combine from three separate fighter jets. To counter the growing might of the Neo Zeon forces and their monstrous mobile armor, the NZ-000 Quin Mantha, the AEUG first developed the "Enhanced ZZ Gundam." Later, utilizing data from the test unit FAZZ, they further refined it into the "Full Armor ZZ Gundam," which boasted comprehensively enhanced defense, firepower, and mobility.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Full Armor ZZ Gundam" stands approximately 65mm tall, meticulously crafted in a super-deformed (SD) proportion. It features high-density detailing that perfectly captures the mobile suit's incredibly heavy armor design. The figure is painted with a distinctive green-tinted white and gunmetal finish, emphasizing its robust texture. Adding to its intricate details are 11 body markings, characteristic of the CORE series. For weaponry, interchangeable parts allow for the display of its right-arm-mounted "Double Beam Rifle," the powerfully sized "Hyper Mega Cannon" on its shoulder, and two massive "Hyper Beam Sabers."
