The origin of the entire Godzilla franchise, the 1954 film "Godzilla," was directed by Ishirō Honda with special effects by the legendary Eiji Tsuburaya and released by Toho Co., Ltd. Inspired by the previous year's Hollywood film "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms," the story follows the ancient kaiju Godzilla, awakened by hydrogen bomb testing, as it attacks the Japanese capital of Tokyo. The film is a powerful allegory for post-war Japan's complex anxieties surrounding nuclear weapons.

This Burning Variant Godzilla vinyl figure stands approximately 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall. It utilizes the same master sculpt by Kenichi Tanaka of Tanaka Studio and is crafted from vinyl. The figure reinterprets the classic "ShodaiGoji" design, capturing the rough, textured hide and intricate dorsal fins in stunning detail. The paint application is handled by top-tier Godzilla garage kit painter David Dopko, who has created a "Burning" color scheme reminiscent of the Heisei-era fan-favorite. This deco creates the visual effect of vibrant reds and yellows glowing from beneath the kaiju's black skin. To top it off, the figure features a glow-in-the-dark function, giving it an undeniable presence in the dark and a completely different, powerful aura compared to the standard version!
