Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s popular Gashapon capsule toy brand, known for its "Machibouke" (Waiting For) series, is set to release its latest product based on the super popular "Dragon Quest" franchise. Titled "Dragon Quest Machibouke ~But Help Didn't Come~" capsule toys, these figures will be available for 400 JPY per turn, featuring five different designs, and are slated for release in June 2026.

The "Machibouke" capsule toy series hasn't seen such a tragic lineup in a long time! This latest "Dragon Quest Machibouke ~But Help Didn't Come~" capsule toy collection goes beyond merely depicting characters in a state of patient anticipation or subtle melancholy; these figures are openly shedding tears! The "Dragon Quest" characters who can't seem to get any backup include a teary-eyed Slime, Mummy Boy, the dejected Mud Hand (whose slump is palpable even without a visible face), Restless Armor, and Healslime. Each monster's distinct features are brought to life through transparent materials, pearlescent, or metallic paint finishes. With a substantial size, these figures are perfect for creating various humorous or poignant scenes of unfulfilled waiting!
