BANDAI SPIRITS' BANDAI HOBBY division, under its character model kit brand "30 MINUTES PREFERENCE" (30MP), has announced the latest release from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-": the "Kaname Madoka (Walpurgisnacht: Rising Ver.)" plastic model kit, slated for November 2026.
"Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-", the highly anticipated sequel to 2013's "Rebellion" and the latest entry in the series, is set to premiere in Japan on August 28, 2026. This new film reunites the original creative team, including General Director Akiyuki Shinbo, Screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, Original Character Designer Ume Aoki, Music Composer Yuki Kajiura, and animation studio SHAFT, to tell a brand new story centered around protagonists Kaname Madoka and Akemi Homura.
The "30MP Kaname Madoka (Walpurgisnacht: Rising Ver.)" plastic model kit meticulously recreates Madoka's newly designed magical girl outfit from the movie, utilizing precise part separation and color molding techniques. Multiple shades of pink plastic are used to capture the fabric textures and the adorable multi-layered ruffled skirt. The head and limbs feature articulated joints, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses. Currently revealed accessories include two pre-painted face parts, blank face parts for custom expressions with water-slide decals, and the iconic Incubator, Kyubey. More accessories may be announced as the movie's release approaches and story details are revealed.
