Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer threezero's "FigZero" line, known for its 1/6 scale articulated figures based on American and Japanese anime and tokusatsu characters, is releasing a new product inspired by the "Power Rangers" spin-off comic, "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return." The "Red Ranger (Exclusive Version)" 1/6 scale articulated figure is priced at $179.9 and is slated for release in the first quarter of 2027.
"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return" is a four-issue comic miniseries published by BOOM! Studios in 2024. Co-written by original "Pink Ranger" Amy Jo Johnson and Matt Hotson, it tells an adventure story set in a parallel universe where Pink Ranger Kimberly never left the team, marrying Green Ranger Tommy and raising a family.
This Red Ranger figure stands approximately 31 cm tall. The helmet appears to be a re-tooled version of the previously releasedTV series version, accurately recreating the scratches on the mask as seen in the comic. The figure features a specially developed muscular base body, capturing the character's robust, comic-style physique. The suit is meticulously tailored from fabric, incorporating unique original texture details, and boasts a full-body weathering effect to convey a battle-worn appearance. The tactical belt with a holster, the cross-body strap with a sword sheath, shoulder pads, gloves, combat boots, and the character's iconic fabric cape are all exquisitely reproduced from the comic.
Accessories include four sets of interchangeable hands, the Red Ranger's Power Sword, and a Blade Blaster that can transform into a dagger. With 34 points of articulation throughout the body, collectors can recreate various dynamic poses from the series. Furthermore, the exclusive version will also include an additional chrome-plated Power Sword, offering even more display options!
