Introducing the "Godzilla (2023) Normal Version (Frog Tree)" vinyl figure, priced at ¥34,000 and slated for release in July 2026!
Frog Tree (フロッグツリー), a Japanese trio of designers, is an internationally recognized sofubi artist group known for their "Wa" (Japanese harmony/style) themed creations. Their works transcend typical vinyl toys, blending artistic expression with traditional Japanese aesthetics, garnering significant attention from art toy enthusiasts worldwide.
This latest collaboration between the GVA series and Frog Tree brings us the highly popular "Godzilla Minus One" iteration. The most striking feature of this release is Godzilla's profile, meticulously sculpted to form the letter "G," powerfully echoing the iconic "G" silhouette seen on the film's promotional posters. Standing approximately 30 cm tall, the figure reinterprets Godzilla's imposing form with Frog Tree's distinctive artistic flair. The sculpt captures the rough, textured quality of Godzilla's skin with incredible detail. The legs feature translucent material with Ukiyo-e style flame patterns, while the dorsal fins boast intricate Ukiyo-e smoke effects. The translucent blue dorsal fins are further enhanced with white paint sprays to create a dynamic glowing effect. Blue paint applications on the chest and mouth vividly portray the immense energy building up within, ready to be unleashed at any moment!
