BANDAI HOBBY, the model kit brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has announced the latest addition to its "30 MINUTES PREFERENCE" (30MP) character model kit series: "ENIA" from the upcoming anime "Vertex Force," slated for release in November 2026.
"Vertex Force" is a brand-new original anime where Japanese animator Kazuhiro Takamura (known for "Strike Witches" and "Vividred Operation") once again serves as both director and character designer. The series is set to premiere in Japan starting October 2026. While the story's synopsis has yet to be revealed, the production team is highly anticipated, with SMDE Animation (responsible for the "Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion" series) handling animation production. Renowned mechanical designers Kanetake Ebikawa and JNTHED are also contributing to the in-show mecha designs.
The recently released PV also showcases scenes of the main character, Haruka Todo, summoning the mysterious mecha "ENGINE" from behind her to engage in mechanical combat with enemies.
The mysterious robot character "ENIA," now being released as a model kit, was designed by JNTHED, who previously worked on the Gundam Aerial from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury." The 30MP kit utilizes precise color separation and part division techniques to faithfully recreate the white, dark gray, and light blue colors of its full body armor. It also features an extensive range of articulation. Furthermore, the arms and chest incorporate deployable gimmicks, allowing for the recreation of scenes where weapon muzzles are revealed during combat.
