Iman Vellani, known for her encyclopedic knowledge of Marvel lore and her role as Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) in the MCU, recently revealed that she frequently flagged continuity errors on set during the production of the Disney+ series "Ms. Marvel" and the feature film "The Marvels." Speaking on the "Revenge Of" podcast, Vellani explained her proactive approach was to prevent eagle-eyed fans from spotting plot holes after the projects' release.

Vellani recalled that while filming Marvel projects, she would constantly point out continuity errors during certain scenes. She directly warned the production team, stating, "I know the nerds on Reddit are definitely going to find this, so I'm bringing it up now while you still have a chance to fix it."
While Vellani did not specify the exact scenes or plot points she flagged, she acknowledged that Marvel projects often undergo extensive review by multiple producers for lore and story adjustments. She was fortunate, however, to have been given significant leeway to express her opinions during the production of both the series and the film. Vellani shared that the producers on both projects deeply respected her insights, even going so far as to consider her their "secret weapon" for maintaining the accuracy of critical MCU details.

Vellani has not yet reprised her role as Ms. Marvel in the MCU since 2023's "The Marvels." However, speculation has been rampant regarding her potential return in "Avengers: Doomsday." Andy Serkis previously seemed to inadvertently confirm her involvement in the upcoming film during an interview. With "Avengers: Doomsday" currently set for a late 2026 release, fans await official confirmation from Marvel regarding Vellani's role in the ensemble.
