Spider-Man: Brand New Day Posters Reveal Spidey vs. Hulk Battle; The Hand's Appearance Fuels Daredevil Crossover Rumors

Marvel and Sony's "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" recently unveiled a new batch of promotional posters, with the most striking image depicting Spider-Man in a direct confrontation with the Hulk. With the film slated for release on July 31, 2026, anticipation is building for more merchandise details and potentially a new trailer this week.

One of the newly released posters highlights Spider-Man's new suit, with its visual style drawing clear inspiration from Sam Raimi's 2004 film "Spider-Man 2". The image also appears to hint that this costume will be added to the PlayStation 5 game "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" as a playable skin.

Another banner poster reveals Spider-Man will face off against The Hand. This ninja villain organization appears set to play a significant role in the film, though it remains unclear how they connect to the Hulk or even the rumored Jean Grey. However, given The Hand's long-standing ties to Daredevil, fans are speculating that Peter Parker might be closer to a formal encounter with the Man Without Fear.

Regarding the Hulk, the new poster depicts him in an intense battle with Spider-Man. Notably, the Hulk maintains his classic green appearance in the image, suggesting Marvel Studios may have temporarily shelved plans to introduce the Grey Hulk. However, speculation also suggests that the Hulk's character could still undergo changes in the future, further connecting to Bruce Banner's role in "Avengers: Doomsday."

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is set four years after the events of "Spider-Man: No Way Home." Peter Parker is now an adult, living alone after everyone has forgotten his existence. With New York no longer remembering his name, he fully dedicates himself to protecting the city, becoming a full-time Spider-Man. However, as responsibilities and pressures mount, he will also face physical changes that threaten his very being, alongside a new wave of bizarre crime.

The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.
