MegaHouse, a prominent Japanese figure manufacturer, has announced the latest addition to its new sub-series, "Lucrea Lite," with the "Aslan Zala Pilot Suit Ver." figure from the anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM." This new line, derived from their high-quality anime-themed character figures "Lucrea," offers a more accessible price point and a display-friendly size for collectors. The figure is slated for release in late January 2027.
Aslan Zala, another key Coordinator protagonist in the series, was originally a red-uniformed elite pilot for the ZAFT military and a childhood friend of Kira Yamato. The two once faced each other on the battlefield, clashing over their differing stances and ideologies, even harboring mutual hatred. Fortunately, they eventually reconciled and joined the independent faction led by Lacus Clyne, becoming crucial figures in ending two major wars. In the film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," Aslan returns to the Orb Union forces, led by his beloved Cagalli, and secretly assists Kira, Lacus, and others in the world peace monitoring organization COMPASS as a member of the intelligence group Terminal.
The "Lucrea Lite Aslan Zala Pilot Suit Ver." figure captures him in his theatrical version pilot suit, holding his helmet and sporting a gentle smile. It meticulously recreates his animated hairstyle, physique, and the intricate wrinkle details of his pilot suit. The figure also features rich color applications that highlight the distinct material textures of each part.
