Japan's MECHA SMILE brand has teased the latest information for a new "Gipsy Danger" model kit, joining their "MODEROID" series based on the film "Pacific Rim." A release date has yet to be announced.

The protagonist's mech, "Gipsy Danger," is a third-generation Jaeger manufactured in the United States. Powered by a nuclear vortex turbine engine, it utilizes seawater to cool its reactor. Gipsy Danger boasts a balanced design, featuring moderate armor protection in its upper body and a stable yet agile lower chassis, making it a well-rounded Jaeger excelling in both defense and speed, ideal for close-quarters combat. Its primary weapons are the I-19 Plasmacasters mounted on its hands, with the GD6 Chain Swords added as new armaments later in the story.

The "MODEROID Gipsy Danger" faithfully captures the mech's cinematic appearance. It features a precisely engineered internal frame, highly detailed exterior armor, and the iconic nuclear vortex turbine engine in its chest, all contributing to the Jaeger's imposing, heavy-duty aesthetic. The model also boasts full articulation throughout its body, and includes interchangeable parts to recreate signature armaments like the I-19 Plasmacasters and GD6 Chain Swords hidden within its forearms.

MECHA SMILE also teased that the Chinese-made Jaeger "Crimson Typhoon" and the Russian Jaeger "Cherno Alpha," both featured in the film, are currently in the planning stages and are slated to join the MODEROID series in the future.
