DC's "Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight" Arrives on Switch 2 This September; First Major DLC, "Rampage Collection," Unleashes Joker and Harley

Warner Bros. Games has announced that "Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight" will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 18, 2026, finally allowing Nintendo console players to join the Dark Knight's adventure, filled with Lego humor and DC elements, this fall.

The game initially launched last month on Xbox Series X/S and PC, with an official announcement at the time only stating a "later 2026" release for the Switch 2 version, without a specific date. Now, with the launch date confirmed, Switch 2 players can officially look forward to experiencing the new title in September, exploring Lego Gotham City alongside players on other platforms.

In addition to the Switch 2 launch date, officials have also confirmed that "Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight"'s first major DLC, "Rampage Collection," will debut on the same day. This DLC will be available to Deluxe Edition players across Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The "Rampage Collection" introduces a brand-new "Rampage Mode," allowing players to control The Joker and Harley Quinn, both boasting exclusive abilities, items, and finishing moves. The DLC also delivers new story missions, detailing The Joker and Harley's escape from Arkham Asylum and their subsequent spree of chaos across Gotham City's streets.

Furthermore, the DLC content features a "Villain Pack," which includes seven new costumes—one for each original playable character—along with five brand-new Batcave items and a new Batmobile, further expanding players' in-game collection and customization options.

The title has garnered significant praise since its initial release, with external media reviews describing it as "an irresistible, relentless parade of tributes and laughs." With the Switch 2 version and the first major DLC launching concurrently, "Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight" is set to welcome an even larger player base this September.
