As previously teased, Paradise is celebrating its 20th anniversary! From its original storefront on Lane 187, Section 1, Dunhua South Road, the store has undergone relocations and renovations to become what it is today. Our curated selection has expanded from toys and merchandise to apparel and stationery. We often say Paradise isn't quite a toy store; perhaps "general store" is a more fitting description. What remains constant, however, is that every item we choose is something we genuinely love and want to share with everyone.
It might sound a bit unconventional, but Paradise has always pursued what we love, hoping our customers will love it too. From quirky little trinkets to small exhibitions featuring invited artists, our goal is always to recommend and share things we're passionate about. We're incredibly grateful for everyone's patience and support over the years. While friends have come and gone over two decades—some old friends have left the hobby, and many new ones have joined—Paradise will always be here to accompany you. We hope for your continued support.
The latter half of last year was quite eventful. Between co-organizing THEiCON and assisting with The Monsters 10th-anniversary event, we were stretched thin and didn't want to dilute our focus. Consequently, the Paradise 20th-anniversary celebration plans were delayed until now. Kicking off the festivities, we're thrilled to launch an exclusive silk screen print poster created in collaboration with the esteemed artist Rockin' Jelly Bean. We're immensely thankful to him for taking time out of his busy schedule to design this brand-new commemorative image for Paradise. It features his signature cool girl aesthetic, and the poster even hides some Easter eggs related to us, waiting for you to discover! The poster will be available this weekend, and we hope you love this first item from our 20th-anniversary program.
