Just days after the surprise announcement that she would perform the theme song "I Knew It, I Knew You" for the highly anticipated animated sequel "Toy Story 5," Taylor Swift has officially released the full track today as scheduled. Following "Toy Story 2," the narrative of "Toy Story 5" once again centers on Jessie, making the choice of Taylor Swift—who began her career as a country artist—to craft a new theme song for the iconic cowgirl doll an undeniably perfect fit.

"Toy Story 5" is co-directed by Andrew Stanton, who co-wrote the first four films and directed the "Finding Nemo" series, and McKenna Harris, co-writer of "Luca." The film is slated for an official North American release on June 19.
This installment, much like the second film, will once again place Jessie at its core. The new antagonist introduced in the fifth film is LilyPad, a children's tablet voiced by Greta Lee, which will explore the growing phenomenon of children's reliance on electronic devices.

The beloved voice cast from the previous four films is set to return, including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Tony Hale as Forky, and Joan Cusack as Jessie. New additions to the ensemble include Ernie Hudson, who steps in to voice Combat Carl, taking over from the late Carl Weathers, and Conan O'Brien, who lends his voice to the new character Smarty Pants.
