Chinese manufacturers Hobby Sakura and GNFTOYZ have teamed up to announce their latest product from the popular mobile game "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE": the 1/12 scale "Gigantic Modernia" figure. Priced at 179,300 JPY, it is scheduled for release in July 2027.
Developed by South Korean company SHIFT UP, the shooter mobile game "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE" features a unique back-view shooting perspective with beautiful girls as its main selling point. Combining elements of shooting, character development, and collection, players take on the role of a rookie commander, leading a squad of humanoid weapon girls, the NIKKEs, to battle mechanical enemies known as Raptures. The NIKKEs are humanity's last hope to reclaim the surface. Modernia, hailed as the Queen's Elite, is the only known case of a Heretic being reverted back into a NIKKE. Her original form was Marian, who died in the protagonist's first battle. After being brainwashed and rebuilt, she lost her memories, becoming as innocent and affectionate as a child, and developed a strong attachment to the bandages the protagonist wrapped for her.
The GNFTOYZ x Hobby Sakura 1/12 scale "Gigantic Modernia" figure brings to life Gigantic Modernia's menacing, massive armed chassis, which fuses cutting-edge technology with an alien, biological feel. Standing approximately 57 cm tall (including the special base), the figure perfectly recreates the aggressive, heavy industrial-style outer armor, intricate piping, and thruster structures. The paint application is exquisitely detailed, featuring metallic and subtle glossy finishes that convey a weighty armored texture. At the core of this formidable weapon lies Modernia/Marian; in stark contrast to the colossal weapon encasing her, her delicate girl figure and the complex internal cockpit structure are both faithfully reproduced, brimming with overwhelming detail!
