BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand, BANPRESTO, is set to release the latest addition to its "VIBRATION STARS" series, known for capturing dynamic character poses. Coming from the popular anime "Dandadan," the new "Okarun (Transformation)" figure is scheduled for release on June 23, 2026.
"Dandadan" kicks off with a bet between Ken Takakura, a sci-fi otaku who doesn't believe in ghosts (nicknamed Okarun), and Momo Ayase, the granddaughter of a powerful psychic who scoffs at aliens (nicknamed Momo). Their challenge leads them to supernatural hotspots, where both encounter phenomena they previously dismissed. Momo is abducted by aliens and awakens psychic powers, while Okarun is cursed by the infamous Turbo Granny, losing his "golden balls" but gaining incredible super-speed. Thus begins a wild urban adventure centered around retrieving Okarun's missing "golden balls."
The "VIBRATION STARS Okarun (Transformation)" figure captures Okarun in a powerful, mid-charge pose, with meticulous attention to detail throughout. From his spiky hair and the sharp angles of his uniform after transforming, to the dark paint on his fingernails, every aspect is faithfully reproduced. His sharp gaze and poised stance make it seem as though he's about to unleash his signature serious attack at any moment. Fans can also pair him with the upcoming "Jiji (Transformation)" figure to recreate their intense confrontations!
