Bandai Shokugan Unveils "Tamagotchi CHOCOBOX Box Figure Collection" Featuring New Tamagotchi Paradise Characters!

Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Bandai Japan, is set to release a new product line based on the classic handheld digital pet game, Tamagotchi! Introducing the "Tamagotchi CHOCOBOX Box Figure Collection," with each box priced at 350 JPY and scheduled for release in December 2026.

Tamagotchi (たまごっち), Bandai's iconic handheld digital pet series, first launched in 1996. Its name, a portmanteau of the Japanese words for egg (たまご, Tamago) and watch (ウォッチ, Watch), sparked a global digital pet craze upon its debut. It remains a truly representative toy of the late 90s and early 2000s, a cherished childhood memory for many collectors. Last year's release of "Tamagotchi Paradise" further reignited the digital pet phenomenon.

Bandai's "CHOCOBOX" series features delicious chocolate biscuit balls in the bottom compartment and a fun small toy in the top! This "Tamagotchi CHOCOBOX Box Figure Collection" will include one randomly selected character figure charm in the upper box. The lineup features Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, Mimitchi, Baby Mametchi, Myaotchi (みゃおっち), Hohotchi (ほーほっち), Irukatchi (いるかっち), Ginjirotchi (ぎんじろっち), Okojo-tchi (おこじょっち), Parorotchi (ぱろろっち), plus a secret variant, totaling 11 different designs! These small-scale figures bring the characters to life in three dimensions and are designed to look like they're packaged inside miniature window boxes. Even the printing on the back of the mini-packaging is faithfully reproduced. Each comes with a color-matched ball chain, perfect for attaching to your bag and showing off!
